We have not been given any date as yet for the introduction of the regulation of counselling/psychotherapy in Ireland. IACP as a member of the psychological therapist’s forum works on behalf of all its members in continuing to prepare for statutory registration. We do know that there will be a two year grand-parenting period following the opening of the register.
